If you are sick and tired of living in the city and dealing with all the hassles and problems that come with it, you may find yourself fantasising about running out of your home and never coming back. Before things get too crazy, maybe it’s time to consider moving your life to a place where you can truly be happy and be living the life you have always dreamt of. It’s always hard deciding where to move to as it often seems that everywhere is kind of the same, though there really are some gems still out there. The following are some really great places to move if you want to get away from it all.

Noosa

This amazing little piece of paradise is not only spectacular but also consists of some real treats as far as accommodation. Noosa is still a growing centre though while it has grown to include all the conveniences of a larger city, Noosa real estate has maintained the feel of being a small community. If you want to feel like you are miles away from everyone but aren’t yet ready to give up all your modern conveniences, a move to Noosa might be exactly what the doctor ordered.

Cygnet

Over the last twenty years a lot of Australians have fled the madness of the mainland and headed for Tasmania, most settling in Hobart or Launceston. These are both great cities though often seem like just miniature versions of Sydney and Melbourne. To really get away, head to the Huon Valley and in particular Cygnet. This cute little town is not only located in a gorgeous valley, but is also a thriving community in it’s own right, with markets and art showings a regular feature. That small-scale life you’ve been dreaming of just might be waiting for you in Cygnet.

Waikerie

An almost unknown part of South Australia and a great place to live on the impressive Murray River, Waikerie has everything you’ll need without the stress and worry of a big city. This beautiful orange growing city has the feel of a country town and will provide you a beautiful setting to get down to living your life away from former hassles. Maybe it’s time to totally turn your back on city living and discover that farmer inside you. A bit of good old-fashioned country living will have you feeling refreshed and ready to live life the way you’ve always wanted to.

Montville

If you want to move to a place where you can sit back in comfort and get a bigger perspective on it all, this cute town high up in the beautiful Blackall Range might be just what you need. Finding work may be an issue though if you aren’t looking for a job, this mountain hide out will have you drinking in breath taking views and feeling on top of the world.

If you are not happy living where you are and want to get away, the best thing you can do is move. Don’t be afraid; change is good, and if you are ever going to be truly happy you are going to need to make it happen yourself.
