This is a short article about  Valtournenche and Cervinia.

Some tips for you if you plan on skiing here.

Take care with booking a whole week lift pass as the wind cuts off access across the resorts and you will find it not value for money. You dont save so much from buying for a whole week. If you do want to do zermat at the same time you can always add on any day by paying 30 euros.

Don't leave your shoes to chance in the ski rental place, they have lockers included in the price but it isn't obvious to us foreigners. Also try not to leave renting early on a weekend as thats when the local arrrive and its very busy. Often at the end of the day the main rental  shop next to the lift is empty.

If you want a young feel stay in Cervinia but if you want peace and quiet stay in Valtournenche. There are some really nice restaurants here and less busy than in Cervinia. Check out the meat and cheese plates at the brasseries if you can. Prices are better in Valtournenche.
