Good Points
Using local driver be sure to help the local economy and travel responsibly
Save money as this guy doesn't have the admin costs of a large scale tour operator. (Do your homework and check your prices for similar tours)
You will be able to haggle and negotiate this into a custom tour for sure.
You may pay through a more official looking tour company but end up in his car all the same, or being driven using his knowledge.
Will appeal to backpackers. In Cuba drivers like this operate all the time you get the driver and the car.
Bad Points
No reviews as yet as he is just getting started.
Check what happens if his car breaks down etc...as a smaller operator this will be more risk though unlikely.
