Located in the central area of Turkey (Eastern Anatolia), Cappadocia has a relief consisting of a high plateau over 1000 m in altitude pierced by volcanic peaks, being Mount Erciyes the tallest (3916 m.).
90 minutes flight from Istanbul, you can access this place in a flight to Kayseri and from there with a bus transfer. There is a all day circuit for the North part of the area and another all day circuit for the South part. The picture was taken during the tour Cappadocia North that starts with an optional balloon flight that departs just before sunrise.It's totally worth it. About 40 balloons take off together and during 70 minutes fly over the volcano peaks allowing the passengers to enjoy a magnificent view, take lots of pictures and then be welcomed with a champagne breakfast. :) The balloon flight costs approx. 130 Euros.

A 90 minutos de vuelo de Estambul, se puede acceder con un vuelo hacia Kayseri y de allí con un transfer en bus.Hay un tour de todo el día para la zona Norte y otro día entero para la zona Sur. La foto corresponde al tour de Cappadocia Norte que comienza con un opcional vuelo en globo antes del amanecer que vale la pena realmente. Unos 40 globos salen juntos y durante aproximadamente 70 minutos sobrevuelan las formaciones permitiendo a los pasajeros disfrutar una magnífica vista, tomar un montón de fotos y ser recibidos luego con un desayuno de champagne :) El vuelo en globo sale unos 130 Euros.
