Lou was our guide for this and she was amazing. This tour was absolutely fantastic. SATC fans will love love love it. I'm coming back to do the 7 hour tour. Go Lou you were a superb guide. This is def a MUST do tour. Cheers Janeane

Not a huge fan of Sex and the City but went with my wife.have to admit really enjoyed it , our guide Lindsay was fantastic and definitely added to the whole experience.
The 3 hours flew by would definitely recommend.

I would recommend this tour for n authentic experience in Vietnam

If you like trekking then you will be rewarded by stunning panoramas and warm welcome from the local villagers. With 9 full days of trekking you will feel fit and healthy from the experience.

Our tours of Vietnam will allow you to meet the main ethnic minorities of the mountainous North and of the Central Highlands. As well as visiting these exciting mountain sites you will also have the opportunity to visit 4 other world heritage sites: the natural wonders of Halong Bay and the Phong Nha caves and the cities of Huê and Hoi An.

I would find out what you want to see and negotiate your tour with him. Take it in your stride and organise your Madagascar Tour with a BAckpacking spirit.

On a cruise it can be daunting trying to save money and DIY it. This way is inbetween you won't get hounded as a passanger leaving the ship as you will be met and benefit from better prices than buying on the ship.

Liked: Staff were very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms in the main building and rooms were kept very clean (bathrooms in the annex were less so), though there was a smell of mould and damp in the corridors. The place was reasonably secure - the exterior doors have a code, giving you 24-hour access, and rooms have individual locked doors and keys. We asked for a 3-bed private room and got a 4-bed and then a 5-bed dorm to ourselves; the 5-bed room was large, with a desk and a couple of chairs. A computer with internet access and a cable to plug your laptop into is provided in the common room for free (Internet access was super fast). Breakfast is provided - a selection of cereals, tea, a few condiments. Milk and basic supplies are available for purchase. The single male shower (see below) was clean and hot. There's a large sci-fi book collection to read or swap. A large inflatable Dalek is available.

Disliked: The property is split into a main building and an annex, with a few more rooms. Unfortunately, the annex has no showers as I understand there's currently renovations under way - there's only one shower for each gender, located in the main building. This means if your room is in the annex you're walking outside through the rain each morning. The annex does however have a couple of sinks and toilets. These toilets were very much a construction zone, and didn't feel all that clean. None of the bathrooms had soap available, unfortunately, and perhaps half the basins didn't have mirrors.

Liked: very friendly staff, helpful, close to train station, big park and supermarket

Disliked: we didn't really see any other travellers, showers were a bit dodgy

Disliked: It took a long time to get hot water from the shower.

Liked: The location is quite good. It's right in the center of the city. Only a few minutes walk from the MRT station. Also very close to the bus stop. This is really important as this is the main mode of transportation in Singapore.

Disliked: Nothing really. It was just enough for the rate that they charge.

Liked: near public smimming pool, ok showers.

Disliked: They turn the aircon off during the day in the dorms or charge you $4 per hour. long way from MRT and not great restaurants around. On noisy road.

Liked: Very nice and helpfull staff. They know everything about singapore. Very clean. nice atmosphere.

Disliked: Bedbugs, we told the owner and was very concern about it. I am sure they have looked for a way to get rid of the problem.

Liked: I really liked it. Thank goodness for the air con in the dorm. the free breakfast was a nice touch. the male/female shared bathroom was a surprise but not weird at all.

Disliked: My dorm smelt like pumpkin or something.

Liked: Everything, but specially the help from the staff, this guy helped me with everything I asked for, even when I arrived he waited for me outside to make sure I was heading the right place and wouldn´t get lost, excellent service.

Disliked: It was hot in the common area.

If you want good cigars to take home then I suggest you visit proper cigar shops who have cigar rollers in house that make the home brand - no label just bundels and very tasty at a fraction of the cost.
