Ibiza town has so much to offer the visitor. With a picturesque old town full of charm and atmosphere. Here you can wander through the narrow cobbled streets taking in the sights and maybe drop in to one of the recently opened museums giving some history about the beautiful Island of Ibiza. During the evening a walk in the old town offers something special, with its interesting shops, delightful cafes and quality restaurants. Then a walk down by the port with its many bars and zany nightlife with people coming from all around the globe to experience the delights of Ibiza. After dark Ibiza comes into its own with a choice of clubs that has no equal anywhere in the world. From the town it is possible to get local transport to many parts of the Island including many of the beautiful beaches including the lovely Salinas beach in the south of the Island. But to get the most of your visit a hired viehcle will make it possible to reach many fantastic beaches and to get into the heart of the Island to experience the peaceful country life Ibiza has to offer. If you want to be close to the town but like the beach on your doorstep take a look at Talamanca. Some nice hotels and a good good selection of beach bars/restaurants. Only a 20 - 30 minute walk into town or a 5 minute taxi ride.

 

A trip down to the beach of Las Salinas is a must, with its beautiful powder soft sand and clear aquamarine seas. Here you experience the real beach life of Ibiza with many beach bar/restaurants playing there own style of music put together by the bars resedent DJ's. This place has a great chilled out atmosphere during the morning's and early part of the day. Then as the day goes on some of the bars along the beach up the tempo and making it a real party scene with dancing on the beach as the sun goes down. Check out Santa Gertrudis to see a different side of Ibiza, this is now a hub for many europeans and other folk from around the world that have decided to make Ibiza there year round home. A interesting selection of shops, cafes and bars are dotted around the village with a delightful pedestrianised suare being the central point. here you'll find Bar Costa which has a long established reputation for its tapas of manchego cheese and Dry cured ham. A pleasure to sit and people watch while enjoying a nice cold beer in the Ibiza sunshine. Ibiza has so much to see and do. Chill out on a peaceful cove or maybe a boat trip over to the Island of Formentera with beaches that are as good as you can find anywhere in the Mediterranean. Wander round the Old town or a visit into the countryside with its many whitewashed pueblos, it has something for everybody. Let's not forget the world famous nightlife to finnish off a great day and evening spent on this fantastic Island.
