Last week there have been recurring shark attacks which were the result of some irresponsible dumping of carcasses into the water bringing in sharks. Overfishing also leaves shark hunting further away from their normal source of survival.
They love to stay away from Humans. Interestingly while I was in Sharm diving middle reef I missed seeing a glimpse of a white tipped oceanic shark. I hope that these attacks are taken in context and the reasons understood - that sharks are not demonised but I know that's impossible.
