We arrived from the bus station in Buenos Aires and got a taxi across the road from the bus station. It cost 15 pesos for two to get to Hostel Estoril on Avenida De Mayo. Ít´s all on the meter so you won´t be scammed.

It is safer to get a taxi that has a sign saying Radiotaxi on the top of the car. This means they have are working for a comapany and if anything happens to you, they will be held responsible.

If taking a taxi from Hostel Estoril you can book one with them for a fixed price.

I arrived and before leaving final security was accosted by the taxi companies via desks who offered and assured me that leaving through the final exit would not allow me to get cheaper deal offered me cabs for 110. I paid 98 including the tolls. While I was getting cash out cabbies also tried to get me at first offering 150 ! So knowing the real deal or pre-booking is helpful. I opted for the desk in the public area at 98 to the centre and it was a good move.
