The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and fire. ~Sharon Ralls Lemon
Some planning is essential before you go for horse riding tours. Riding a horse is easy once you have the experience of doing so, so gathering some experience is necessary before you go for the trip. Horses are freedom-loving animals who accept a human being on their backs only if they think that person is a friend. Therefore, before going for horse riding you must know how to treat the animal so that it listens to your commands. This is a gradual process, which you will need to learn as you keep riding, so the basic step should include learning to stay long time on the horse and how to balance yourself when you are riding the horse.

A little planning before a hiking trip is essential for a great hiking experience. Hiking introduces the nomad to new horizons of the mind, treats him/her with strange coincidences, turn complete strangers into best friends for life and prepares the nomad to imbibe the mysticism of the wilderness. Hiking and walking tours are amazing experiences that are rewarding both physically and mentally.

Horseback riding is often considered a fun, relaxing activity or a
necessary part of people’s daily routines. People don’t always realize,
however, that horseback riding can be a very effective exercise. No, the
horse is not the only one who is working hard when you are riding- in
fact, the health benefits of riding are so extraordinary that a Japanese
company invented an exercise machine which simulates the motions of a
horse.
Horseback riding strengthens the core muscles in a unique way, and
the trunk and limb muscles are used to maintain balance throughout the
entire ride. Back, thigh, arm and stomach muscles are also toned while
controlling balance as well as directing the horse on the ride. Posture
can be greatly improved by riding, as the correct riding position is one
of shoulders held back and a straight spine. Your joints can also
benefit if used correctly during this activity. Six calories are burned
per minute while merely riding at a walking pace. At a canter pace,
riding can help oxygenate the blood, extend breathing, improve
circulation and heighten metabolism speed. Grooming the horse leads to
toned arms and better balance as well.
Horseback riding is also often used as a therapy for people with
disabilities. Balance, coordination, spatial awareness and general motor
development are greatly improved, and, while being in control of
something other than himself, the rider learns to be more sensitive to
his surroundings and to react faster. Building a consistent relationship
with a horse through riding and grooming can also teach people of trust
and loyalty.
In general, the exposure to fresh air is beneficial to a person’s
health, too. Studies have shown that regular outdoor activities and
exposure to animals can boost the immune system and improve moods. So when you travel this is a great way to get rid of some of those calories that you pick up from those long distance or rather long time bus rides while backpacking. Its also a great way to see the local environment and appreciate the way of living.

Scuba Diving Packages Liveaboards and All Inclusive Scubadiving Deals
Scuba diving can be an expensive game and quite intimidating to start with. But lets see if we can help dispel some quick myths to get you into one of the more fascinating worlds existing on the planet. Soon you may be booking your holidays to coincide with Scuba Diving. It can be a good idea to try scubadiving first. PADI a world renowned scuba diving body offers its shop owners and dive instructors and dive-masters the opportunity to take you on a day course that finishes up with your very own underwater bodyguard making sure you are ok as you fin around looking at the wonders underwater. This is known as a DSD in the trade or to you and me a Discover Scuba Diver Course. At the end you will probably take away a desire to continue with your undersea exploration or extend this to an Open Water Scuba Diver course, allowing you next time to turn up at a PADI diveshop and then paying significantly less to just go diving for fun with others literally in the same boat !
Mythbusters - Some things that will make you feel more like giving it a try
"I can't swim well so I don't think I could dive" - You don't need to be able to swim to scuba dive. You will be trained up to control your buoyancy through breathing and the use of your Buoyancy Jacket (BCD) Buoyancy Control Device.
"I am nervous and claustrophobic" - So was I and now I'm a divemaster ! During PADI instruction you will never be taken or asked to do something that the instructor knows you are not capable of, the approach will be very softly softly and the steps incremental according to your progress. Divemasters accompany instructors in the water so there are always qualified trained eyes on you in the water. You will start out in confined water conditions that means you will be in crystal clear water and touching the bottom with zero currents, often a swimming pool.
So there you go.. there is really very little stopping you trying it. I wish I had only tried scubadiving earlier.
We have many destinations to choose from relating to good scuba diving for example scuba diving in the Caribbean. Please click here to take a look at some reputable companies resorts and dive shops offering scuba diving packages.

Take a look at the horses, do they look in good health, do the hands seem to respect the horses how well is the farm run ?
Read some of the horse riding reviews
Find out where the trail goes and if there are stops for taking photographs, you need to be in the spectacular regions of the area to really appreciate the ride the most.
Equipment provided - often saddles will be less comfortable in developing countries but you should still get one that the staff take care to adjust properly. How is the horse temperament the Stables should change a horse if you don't feel comfortable with without hesitation.
This article on Horse Riding says that it is therapeutic, see an extract below "Many people ride horses for the fun aspect of it. Nevertheless, horse
riding has a lot more to offer than short-lived fun. There are
countless benefits attached to this docile yet exciting activity.
Horseback riding will help you lose extra weight by fast burning of
calories as well as strengthening rarely used muscles in the body.
These are just some benefits of therapeutic horse riding.
Studies have shown that horseback riding burns four times more
calories than walking, which is one of the most effective ways to stay
fit. Whether galloping, trotting or walking the horse, you will lose a
varying number of calories. You will lose up to 8 calories a minute on a
galloping horse, 6 calories a minute on a trotting horse and 2 calories
a minute by simply walking the horse.
Either way, you will lose some pounds if you dedicate at least 30
minutes a day to horseback riding. Granted, therapeutic horseback riding
is not a boring activity so the 30 minutes is on the very low end. Most
people will spend a minimum of one hour on the horse."
