Explore one of the Hardangerfjord’s most secluded fjord branches on a guided RIB safari from Norheimsund. This small-group boat tour takes you deep into Fyksesund, a narrow and peaceful fjord arm surrounded by steep mountains and untouched nature. We depart from Norheimsund and travel through the Hardangerfjord before entering Fyksesund, where the landscape becomes quieter and more remote. Along the way, your local captain slows down at selected points so you can enjoy the scenery and take photos. We stop outside Botnen, a historic roadless settlement, and hear stories about fjord life, culture, and local history. Fyksesund changes character throughout the year. In spring and after rainfall, waterfalls stream down the mountainsides. In winter, many freeze into striking ice formations. This RIB safari combines speed, comfort, and storytelling, offering a memorable fjord experience in every season.

The hike to Trolltunga is long, 28 km. It’s recommended to use a guide outside the summer season which is defined between the 15th of June and the 15th of September. This is due to uncertainty related to weather, snow, rivers, and less daylight, which again have led to several rescue operations over the years. The weather changes fast at this time of the season Spring at Trolltunga is a unique experience with few/no tourists in the mountains, crystal clear air, and several meters of snow We will provide snowshoes and poles if that's required. Meeting point in Skjeggedal (P2) at 0800. Here you will meet our guide. If conditions allow us, we will be able to drive up to Mågelitoppen (P3), which will save us 4km and 400 vertical meters(!). We will serve a delicious lunch, hot drinks and local snacks. We will have breaks along the way, and our guides will show you some spectacular hidden gems. The duration of the hike is about 10-12 hours.
