This area is becoming more popular each year due to its fantastic beaches and clear translusent waters.
The small fishing village has grown a little over the last few years and now offers a good selection of holiday accommodation to suit most holiday makers needs. This is still a working fishing village with the local fishermen carrying on much the same as they have done over the years. However tourism has now become the main business and you will find a nice selection of shops, street cafes and restaurants dotted around the village and harbourside. Most come to Stintino to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches that are to be found in the area. La Pelosa is the most famous with its white sands and aquamarine sea, however there are others just as beautiful such as "saline", "Ezzi Manu" and "Puzzona" all close by with perfect white sand beaches. The evenings are relaxed with a selection of cafes to choose from before having dinner either in the hotel or one of the delightful restaurants in the area. The resort of Stintino has a mainly Italian following so therefore the restaurants cater mainly for the Italian holiday maker. This means the standards are generally high in most establishments and little fast food is available. The town of Stintino has some lovely places to stay from small family hotels to quality 4 star properties. It is also possible to stay in a holiday apartment or private villa with pool.
