Great Barrier Island (often colloquially just The Barrier) is a large island of New Zealand, situated 100 kilometres to the north-east of central Auckland in the outer Hauraki Gulf. Barbados is an island country in the Lesser Antilles. It is 34 kilometres in length and as much as 23 kilometres in width, amounting to 431 square kilometres . While touring the Vatican museums, we would see a sign with an arrow at nearly every turn that said 'Capella Sistina' -- basically, 'Sistine Chapel, this way'. At first when we would see the sign, we would get excited and think that we were about to step into the Chapel... and each time there would be another room! After a while it turned into a little joke. Once we eventually got to the Sistine Chapel, it was crowded and hot, and much smaller than we had thought. The rest of the Vatican museum was incredible, though!

How to do the Ajanta Caves - there are no hotels nor hostels close by apart from the MTDC (Mahrashtra Tourism Development Corporation).

Fly to Aurangabad via Mumbai. There are plenty of good hotels in Aurangabad.

You will need to hire a car to do the trips to Ajanta & Ellora. Best to do the trips on separate days so plan a 2 night stay if possible.

The Ajanta Caves, Maharashtra, India are 29 rock-cut cave monuments which date from the 2nd century BCE.

Amboseli National Park, formerly Maasai Amboseli Game Reserve is in Kajiado District, Rift Valley Province in Kenya. The park is 390 km² (150 mi2) in size at the core of an 8,000 km² (3,000 mi2) ecosystem that spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The local people are mainly Maasai, but people from other parts of the country have settled there attracted by the successful tourist-driven economy and intensive agriculture along the system of swamps that makes this low-rainfall area (average 350 mm (14 in) one of the best wildlife-viewing experiences in the world. The park protects two of the five main swamps, and includes a dried-up Pleistocene lake and semi-arid vegetation.
