From village boutique hotels to a private island for 76 guests, here's how to choose your base in paradise.
Most visitors to the Seychelles stay on Mahé, the main island, where the international airport is. Each coast has a different feel, and the sea matters as much as the room: some beaches are calm all year, while others have shallow reefs or seasonal surf. For more seclusion, the outer islands of Silhouette and Fregate are a short boat or air hop away. Use the filters to narrow down by island, budget and swimming conditions.
Nothing showing? That combination has no match, so set one filter back to All.

Fregate Island · Private island
Fregate Island Private
Rebuilt from the ground up, with 14 pool villas and three estates on an island of its own. Expect a farm, a distillery, a huge wine cellar and over 3,500 giant tortoises. Reached by air from Mahé.

Mahé · West coast
Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas
Villas of 250 m² and up, spread far apart on a granite-framed hillside, each with its own infinity pool, jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen. Guests rarely leave their villa, and there's an open-air spa among tropical gardens.

Mahé · Northwest coast
Constance Ephelia
A 120-hectare resort beside Port Launay Marine Park, with two sandy bays, a giant tortoise enclosure and one of the largest spas in the Seychelles. Rooms come in small low-rise clusters, each with its own pool, and the best villas sit on a cliff.

Mahé · Southeast coast
Laïla, a Tribute Portfolio Resort
A Marriott boutique hotel in a village, with cafés and shops a short walk away. Rooms wrap around a courtyard pool, and across the coast road there's a water sports centre and Kafe Kreol, with tables in the sand under the palms.

Mahé · Southwest coast
Canopy by Hilton Seychelles
A bright design hotel of wood and stone on Anse à la Mouche, with a big pool bar, spa and gym. The bay is too shallow for proper swimming, but guests can also use the pool and restaurant at the Mango House boutique hotel, ten minutes away.

Silhouette Island · 20 km off Mahé
Hilton Labriz Resort & Spa
The only luxury resort on an island that is 93% nature reserve, with jungle mountains behind a long reef-sheltered beach. Villas are built from natural materials, and there's a dive centre, tennis and bikes. Reached by ferry or helicopter.
